Centennial Celebration - Natural Bridges National Monument

During Labor Day weekend, Natural Bridges National Monument is celebrating 100 years as a National Park Service Unit.  The monument staff invites you to join in the celebration by spending a few hours or a few days exploring the spectacular canyons that are home to three of the world’s largest natural land bridges.

Check out their website to find out what special activities will be offered.  Here's a short list of some: Plein Air Painting competition, Star parties, Geology tours, and special Archaeology tours to two pueblo ruins in the park; places not normally offered to the public.  These archaeological tours are free, but with a size limit cap and reservations are required.

For further information call the NPS at (435)692-1234, or go online at http://www.nps.gov/nabr.
