Topic:  Busted Prospects and Ghosted Boomtowns: Historic Mining Archaeology in Amizette and Twining, New Mexico


Carrie Leven, Questa District Archaeologist, will present a slide-illustrated talk about historic archaeology and archival research into the mining boom in the Rio Hondo Mining District that happened in the Taos Ski Valley area in the 1890s until around World War I.
