What’s New On the Old?

 New Archaeological Discoveries In the San Luis Valley

 Angie is currently in an acting role as the Forest Archaeologist for the Carson NF. She comes from the Rio Grande National Forest of the San Luis Valley where she has been the Forest Archaeologist for the past 7 years. Ms. Krall received her BA in Anthropology with a minor in Southwest Studies from the Colorado College in 1992 and an MA in Applied Archaeology from Northern Arizona University in 2001. Most of her career has been spent working in cultural resource management (CRM) for the Forest Service and BLM with an emphasis on public archaeology. In addition, Angie has worked as a consultant in Arizona and New Mexico conduction Traditional Cultural Property investigations with several southwestern tribes on various large scale projects. Ms. Krall has also taught for Colorado Mountain and Northland Community Colleges as adjunct faculty and founded and ran a job training and education program for tribal youth for seven years. She has a particular love for high altitude archaeology, the Old Spanish Trail and all things ancient and mysterious.
